Country domain names
Subdomain or domain of the country or just re-write (ASP.NET)?

I have a site classification, the problem is that I have more than one country for .. take care of the problem is: when I type the domain name in Google are the following domains | Dubai | Category 1 | Category2 | category3 ....... Site DESCRIPTIONS ......... www.domainname.com/default.aspx/cid=288 of any Google search that I have shown that Dubai is the country appear related to Google search, for example, appear Google.ca domain | Canada | Category 1 | Category2 | category3 when I see that found that 302 redirect to redirect cid = 288 or so have to do multiple domains such as O www.domain.com.pk www.domain.ae ... really urgent please Thanks for reading

I'm not sure how this is really important from a design point of view of the site you can look at the larger companies like Canon.com to your website. They create a "World Portal" that all points to canon.com google.xx and the first question when browsing the site is What country are you? to connect to the site suitable. Even its U.S. site should whatever.us whatever.com but is only a portal to jump. People searching Google to find your site is the portal, someone looking for something in particular is the perforated page through your Longtail keywords. Http: / / green.cx * Update * I do not know what the guy is talking about below, I own ccTLDs in 5 different countries .... Even has a business! They're just parked .... and subdomains not perform as well as in SERPs ... just no. * Update # 2 * I think ultimately what you are saying, and instead of using ASP to check the referer I use the. httaccess to rewrite the URL in function your IP address, if you really want to automatically go to your location. Blockacountry.com and the website can make a. Httaccess with all blocs IP from the list and then you could just change the "Deny" rewrite the category entries in the URL. I hope that makes sense. Because not everyone from the United States for example, will be coming from google.com can be unknownsearch.com and then not know where to redirect all forms ....

A domain name is an identification label that defines a realm of administrative autonomy, authority, or control in the Internet, based on the Domain Name System (DNS). Domain names are used in various networking contexts and application-specific naming and addressing purposes. They are organized in subordinate levels (subdomains) of the DNS root domain, which is nameless. The first-level set of domain names are the top-level domains (TLDs), including the generic top-level domains (gTLDs), such as the prominent domains com, net and org, and the country code top-level domains (ccTLDs). Below these top-level domains in the DNS hierarchy are the second-level and third-level domain names that are typically open for reservation by end-users that wish to connect local area networks to the Internet, run web sites, or create other publicly accessible Internet resources

The Current State of Domain Name Regulation

The Current State of Domain Name Regulation

$110.05

This book looks at the topic of domain names, evaluating the behaviour of domain names within the rule of law as well as their regulatory frameworks. The book explores the philosophical, procedural, economical, theoretical and scientific contexts which affect the current legal status of domain names, and analyses the current system of adjudication of disputes concerning domain names. The book looks at the similarities between domain names and trade marks, and how this can be used to determine the property nature of domain names. Drawing on experience from various jurisdictions, including that of the US, Konstantinos Komaitis uses this theory of domain names as property to suggest solutions as to how the regulation of domain names can be reformed.

An internationalized domain name (IDN) is an Internet domain name that contains at least one label that is displayed in software applications, in whole or in part, in a language- specific script or alphabet, such as Chinese, Russian or the Latin-based languages with diacritics, such as French. These writing systems are encoded by computers in multi-byte Unicode. Internationalized domain names are stored in the Domain Name System as ASCII strings using Punycode transcription. The Domain Name System, which performs a lookup service to translate user-friendly names into network addresses for locating Internet resources, is restricted to the use of ASCII characters, a technical limitation that initially set the standard for acceptable domain names. The internationalization of domain names is a technical solution to translate names written in language-native scripts into an ASCII text representation that is compatible with the Domain Name System.

The Domain Name System (DNS) is a hierarchical naming system for computers, services, or any resource connected to the Internet or a private network. It associates various information with domain names assigned to each of the participants. Most importantly, it translates domain names meaningful to humans into the numerical (binary) identifiers associated with networking equipment for the purpose of locating and addressing these devices worldwide. An often used analogy to explain the Domain Name System is that it serves as the phone book for the Internet by translating human-friendly computer hostnames into IP addresses. For example, www.example.com translates to 208.77.188.166. The Domain Name System makes it possible to assign domain names to groups of Internet users in a meaningful way, independent of each user's physical location
